Don’t push that button!

I am guilty of mindlessly pushing the “Translate this page” button whenever I see it pop up. Whether I’m overseas and am getting targeted with foreign content, or I’m researching across languages, the ability to translate a full webpage is amazing.

However! If you order one of our translation cards, guess what will happen if you press “Translate this page” after your order? Your card will translate to English…kind of defeating the purpose. You can always change it back, but at least want to make you aware of the ONE TIME this button can be counterproductive.

Safe travels!

Welcome to the New AllergyTranslation.com!

We are very excited to announce a new www.allergytranslation.com! The Allergy Translation site is now better equipped than ever to provide handy translation cards for travellers with food allergies.

The new site features easier navigation to help you get the Allergy Translation Card you need in a quick and convenient manner. It’s more mobile friendly which allows you to grab a card on the go without hassle.

Allergy Card Languages

Select desired language easily.

We’re most excited about the new filter available when ordering a customized Allergy Translation Card. This convenient drop-down menu allows you to quickly filter through our database of 200+ allergens to select and create a card tailored to your needs. Allergens are categorized accordingly, and there is even a category for “most popular” allergens. The Specialized card process is also more straightforward in allowing you to see all of the cards/statements at a glance.

The site also has a new eCommerce platform that makes order easy, quick and safe. It allows you ton conveniently access your card within your account after your purchase.

AllergyTranslation.com was first launched in April of 2006. To date, this is the third reiteration of the website to keep in line with the ever changing landscape of the web. Feel free to browse the site, make a purchase in advance of your next trip and leave us some feedback! We’d love to hear what new languages you would like added next. If you have travelled recently, be sure to visit www.allergytravels.com to review countries and airlines.

Welcome to our new website!

Our brand new website is just over one month old and I am thrilled with the end result! The re-design process took many months, but I’m now very happy to say that allergic travellers can now print out Allergy Translation cards easier and faster than ever. Special thanks to my friends at XR Studios for making this new site a reality.

I’m also excited to have a “Free Resources” section that includes handy chef sheets that explain cross-contamination, as well as picture cards which simply display an image of your allergen. I highly recommend using these in combination with your purchased Allergy Translation Card to ensure maximum clarification when communicating your diet abroad.

As part of the relaunch, ALL of our translation databases were proofread through professional translation companies and many new foods and special allergen sentences were added.

I look forward to providing even more helpful resources for allergic travellers this summer!

Happy (and safe) Travels!
